I’ve been in sales for as long as I can remember. And I’ve sat through countless meetings. But I always light up when someone shares an experience that resonates with me. Selling is a rollercoaster ride. I’ve learned that you have to believe in your product (or service), you have to know how to prepare, how to present, and how to listen. You must follow up. You must keep an eye on the competition. And in a world where everyone is busy, you have to be creative and find ways to keep in front of your clients and prospects. Sometimes hitting your numbers comes easy. Yet other times you can feel like you are spinning your wheels. That’s when it hit me. Why don’t we accomplish more in our sales meetings? And then I thought, “What if I could create a sales tool that allows both new and seasoned sales reps an opportunity to collaborate, motivate, and inspire one another?” What if a series of questions could help us all step up our game? And what if just one response to one question had the ability to take the whole team to the next level? And alas! SaleTwisters was born!
What is SalesTwisters®?
SalesTwisters® is a sales training and development tool in the form of a card deck. Each question (one per card) is designed to help facilitate team discussions. Through a simple sharing technique, team members will be motivated and inspired to try new things and be the best they can be.

How to Play

One person chooses a card from the deck, reads the question aloud, and responds. The next person responds to the same question until each person has shared with the group. The sales leader can then build on the discussion offering encouragement and additional options to consider. Download Instructions HERE. You can tailor the process to meet your needs. For example, have each person pull a different card. Or focus on one of the four categories at a time.
Alternately, if meetings are held via Zoom, for example, the sales leader can read a card aloud and ask each team member to respond via the Chat feature.
